Ashley was born and raised in Long Island, NY. She was an Exercise Science major and a Division II swimmer at Adelphi University, and received her B.S. in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Rhode Island. Ashley completed her dietetic internship with Northwell Health, where she gained hands-on experience counseling patients in both the clinical inpatient and outpatient settings. Ashley has been affiliated with Jaeger Nutrition since 2022, providing behind-the-scenes support for clients and clinicians. 
 

Ashley is a Registered Dietitian who has extensive experience supporting individuals with diverse nutrition and health needs, including eating disorders, diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, pre and postnatal nutrition, and general medical nutrition therapy. She takes a supportive, personalized approach - meeting each patient where they are in their nutrition journey, helping them build sustainable habits that align with their lifestyle. Ashley is currently practicing as a clinical inpatient dietitian on Long Island, and is working towards obtaining her Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) credential.


In her free time, Ashley enjoys exploring new coffee shops, spending time outdoors, traveling, running marathons and swimming.

Jessica Jaeger

Founder

Jessica was born and raised in Long Island, NY. She was an English major at the University of South Carolina's Honors College and received her B.S. in Nutrition and Dietetics from New York University. Jessica went on to receive her M.S. in Nutrition and Dietetics with a concentration in exercise physiology from Long Island University.

Jessica is a Registered Dietitian who specializes in eating disorders, intuitive eating, and sports nutrition. She has worked at inpatient and outpatient eating disorder treatment centers, on college campuses as a dietitian and adjunct professor, and in private practice. Jessica is currently an adjunct professor at Hofstra University. She offers individual eating disorder nutrition therapy, intuitive eating coaching and a variety of workshops. Jessica loves working with clients who want to improve both their physical and mental health through food.

Jessica and her team of colleagues published a study in the academic journal Nutrition Today entitled "Dealing with Disordered Thoughts and Behaviors in Youth," which serves as a resource for physicians, Registered Nurses, Registered Dietitians, and psychotherapists navigating disordered eating screening and treatment. Jessica is also the creator of the respected parents' resource Creating a Food and Body Neutral Home.

In her free time, Jessica enjoys cooking and baking, yoga, reading, spending time outdoors and on the water, and spoiling her two rescue dogs, Penny and Duke.
